The University of Vermont Spatial Analysis Lab has released an update for the land cover mapping status and county responsiveness for the Delaware River Basin Project.
This interactive map can be used to view the county status for the following: data request responsiveness, tree canopy mapping, land cover mapping, NAIP, and LiDAR. We are still gathering relevant datasets to improve the quality of our final products. By providing your local GIS data, you ensure that the land cover product matches your existing database, and that your community has the best available land cover layer.
A draft land cover layer is available for the three Delaware counties in the DRB. We are in the process of expanding the land cover classes to complement those used by the Chesapeake Bay Program. More information will be available soon.
