Forecast modeling land use/land cover change

Under the William Penn Foundation grant, we generated baseline and alternative land cover scenarios in the DRB to 2070 using SLEUTH (DRB2070 Version 2). Our collaborators at the US Geological Survey modeled land cover to 2070 using the Chesapeake Bay Land Change Model. Visit our products page to learn more.

With support from the Delaware Watershed Research Fund, a team of scientists from Shippensburg University and Northern Arizona University will connect models of land cover change, climate change, hydrology and tree species to address the impact of future development and environmental change in the Delaware River Basin.
